Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 20th July 2026

Welcome to Narrative Perspectives Coaching(“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website http://www.narrativeperspectives.com (the “Site”) and your purchase or use of any of our 1:1 coaching services, group programs, and digital products (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.

1. About Us

Narrative Perspectives Coaching is operated by Breda Kiernan, a business registered in Ireland. For any questions about these Terms, you can contact us at breda@narrativeperspectives.com.

2. Nature of Coaching Services

  • Coaching is a collaborative, non-clinical service designed to support personal and professional development, productivity, and performance.
  • Coaching is not a substitute for therapy, psychological counselling, or medical advice. We do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please seek support from a qualified medical or mental health professional.
  • You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and outcomes arising from participation in coaching. We do not guarantee specific results, as outcomes depend on your individual effort, circumstances, and engagement.

3. Services Offered

We offer the following types of Services, each subject to the specific terms provided at the time of purchase (e.g. a program agreement, welcome pack, or product description):

  • 1:1 Coaching — individual coaching sessions delivered on a scheduled basis.
  • Group Programs — cohort-based coaching programs delivered to multiple participants.
  • Digital Products — downloadable resources, guides, templates, or courses delivered electronically.

4. Booking and Payment

  • Fees for all Services are as stated on the Site or in your invoice/proposal at the time of booking.
  • Payment is due in full (or per any agreed instalment plan) before access to Services is granted, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We reserve the right to change our prices for future bookings at any time; changes will not affect Services already paid for.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling — 1:1 and Group Coaching

  • Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled if you provide at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled session time.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less notice than this may be charged in full, at our discretion.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, and will provide as much notice as possible.

6. Refund Policy

  • Digital Products: Due to the instant and irrevocable access to digital content upon purchase, all sales of digital products are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • 1:1 and Group Coaching: Refunds are not provided for missed sessions or for cancellations that do not meet the notice period set out in Section 5. Any other refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
  • Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer protection law.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content provided through the Site or Services — including coaching materials, worksheets, templates, digital products, videos, and written content — is the intellectual property of Narrative Perspectives Coaching and is protected by copyright law.
  • You may use materials provided to you for your own personal or internal business use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, or share materials with third parties without our prior written consent.

8. Confidentiality

  • We treat information shared during coaching sessions as confidential, except where disclosure is required by law, or where there is a risk of harm to you or others.
  • In group programs, participants are expected to treat information shared by other participants as confidential.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Narrative Perspectives Coaching shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
  • This does not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

10. Data Protection

  • We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
